Guys Are Trying To Get With Alexa
The movie Her has come to life.
A report conducted by sex toy Company We-Vibe discovered that out of 1,000 men, 28% admitted to getting horny and stirred up by Alexa, the Amazon voice assistant.
Now, this peculiar scenario could be happening for a couple of reasons –
1.) Social Distancing:
People aren’t socializing as much as they used to. We’re in ebbs and flows right now, but for the most part, a lot of people’s social and sex lives are at an all-time low. That being the case, there are fewer opportunities to engage with the opposite sex.
We are social beings. We crave interaction, engagement, and stimulation of all varieties from those around us. What those types of interactions might consist of is up to you, but whatever it might be, this social engagement is crucial to maintain your ability to give women what they want.
During these recent times, we’ve been deprived of these social bonds. What ends up happening? Guys start jerking off to the voice of a robot in their devices. As I told In Touch Weekly magazine, “people are desperate for connection, and Alexa is a constant, reassuring voice in the midst of stress and chaos.”
We went on to talk about how the appeal of Alexa is that “she’s funny, smart and has plenty to talk about but still remains elusive and mysterious when you try to find out too much about her.” A true maiden of mystery.
The bottom line? Technology is slowly taking over the roles once held by living human beings. Which brings us to the next cause of this odd phase – the proliferation of sexualized technology.
2.) The Rise of Sex Tech
Porn, sex toys, and other things that fall in the category of sex tech have led to a society of men who have become sexually attracted to technology. While there is nothing wrong with sex toys, porn, and other sexual technology, if it’s your primary source of sexual connection, it can recondition what you think of as sexually attractive.
From mechanic fuck dolls, vibrating pocket pussies, virtual sex, and in our current case, voice assistants on your devices, this problem continues to get worse. And while these outlets might be a nice way to blow off some steam, it highlights the decaying ability of men and women to engage in meaningful ways.
Due to both the current pandemic in addition to the advancement of sexual technology, many men are quickly losing the ability to interact with the opposite sex and understand how to make a woman feel good in the bedroom.
If a life of solidarity pleasuring yourself through the methods becoming available in the sex tech industry works for you, that’s perfectly fine. As long as you’re happy. From what I hear from men though, that’s not what they ultimately desire.
And as someone who has been in intense, passion-filled connections with real men, I’m not sure the two can compare. Every time I get the chance to experience one of these cosmic encounters it makes me even more motivated to show men how to pleasure a woman in the same ways I’ve been treated.
I shouldn’t get to have all the fun, should I?
